Olivier Kamanzi is International Financial Manager, Capital markets expert, and Philanthropist. Currently, he is Chairman & CEO of Africa Infrastructure Investment Group, President of Africa Global Chamber of Commerce, headquartered in Chicago, with the aim of promoting trade and investment globally. He is Founder and CEO of Globrock Financial Group Inc., a global management Consulting and investment advisory firm. Kamanzi is owner of River City Bottling Company, LLC, a private label bottled water and flavored water company based in the State of Michigan. He is founder and Executive Chairman of The Olivier Kamanzi Foundation – a charitable organization (www.kamanzifoundation.org).

Currently, it is partnering with African Governments and private sectors to raise money here in United States and invest the raised funds in investment projects. Mr. Kamanzi is founding member of the Africa Global Chamber of Commerce and initiated different policies and programs including East Africa Payment System policies, Rwanda Privatization Policy through Capital Markets, Rwanda Tax Policy on Capital Markets, and the Chicago Africa Trade Center. He sits on various corporate and not-for profit boards including St. Sabina School Academy.
Over the last three years, Mr. Kamanzi assisted in designing and developing policies for the harmonization and integration of the East Africa (Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda) financial sector and capital markets in particular. He helped in designing, developing, and establishing the Rwandan capital markets industry – a national project completed successfully; and the creation of the first Rwanda Stock Exchange and an over-the counter (OTC) market to enable securities transactions. Prior joining the East Africa and Rwanda Capital markets, Olivier worked for the largest worldwide corporate banks including Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase alternatively as Financial Executive and Senior Investment Specialist. He holds various professional licenses and certifications in investment advisory and banking; insurance; payment and settlement systems; financial analysis; etc.
Mr. Kamanzi holds MBA in Finance from Ashford University, the Forbes School of Business in Iowa and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Fribourg in Switzerland. He fluently speaks 5 languages including English, French, Russian, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, and basics in Germany. Mr. Kamanzi has one son, Dia, and his hobbies are empowering youth through teaching the stock markets to 8th grade students, running for charities, basketball, reading, and travel.
